It has a warm sound with smooth action and is in great condition. This horn is a great example of the classic Big B Aristocrats. The case is a good used replacement case. The neck looks as though it has had some light pull down removal done and the cork is in great condition. The neck is original in good used condition. “Buescher” is engraved on the G# key and “Low Pitch PAT” under the serial number with the Triangle, Tuning Fork and Bell logo. The engraving on the bell reads “B The Buescher Aristocrat Made in Elkhart-Ind. The serial number is “295950” making this a vintage 1942 saxophone. There are a few re-soldering points from key guards to the neck strap ring to the lyre mount and neck tightening screw ring. The bottom bow has some evidence of dent removal. This saxophone has ribbon key guards and brown cellulose rollers. One of the key guards feet was re-soldered and is slightly separated but not detached. This Buescher The Buescher “Big B” Aristocrat tenor saxophone has 75-80% of the original lacquer remaining with medium general lacquer wear over the entire horn.
